La SINOL s.r.l. è stata fondata nel 1973, è diventata  negli anni leader nel settore degli oli emulsionabili per taglio metalli e nel settore dei distaccanti per forgiatura, nel 2000 è' stata acquisita da Shell creando una virtuale organizzazione Europea dedicata al METALWORKING (Sinol srl in Italia, Jp Industrie sa in Francia, Shell Macron Gmbh in Germania), dal 2006 è il centro d'eccellenza dell'organizzazione globale Shell Metalworking per oli solubili e fluidi hot forging.
